Mint Sauce!

It is very annoying how something so cute can also be so delicious. I knew someone who claimed to be "vegetarian except for lamb and veal" because those were the only meats they liked. Seemed somewhat sadistic to me.

Went to Chatelherault today for a wander, the wee man actually enjoyed the garden centre most. They have an excellent selection of tropical fish and critters (tortoises, a chameleon, and a seriously scary-looking scorpion). As we were leaving for the car park, a young guy passed us carrying a large owl (a Eurasian Eagle Owl, he explained). Turned out it was his pet, not from the local falconry!
