Definitely a fall sky

I'm still barefoot, but it's gettin' mighty chilly at night here now. Cape Town doesn't actually have much of a fall - more of a daily coin toss for winter or summer until the rainy season starts - but you can feel the days shortening and the ceiling getting lower.

I've been thinking a lot about the Tabor Boy lately. Sunsets on the schooner were always a little more vivid when the weather changed. I think it was because we would still be in the middle of doing something when they arrived, realize the light was changing, look up, and see this.
