Day of the Daughter

Plans all changed today, so eco daughter and myself headed to the coast for a walk with Juno.

We like Skateraw as it is quiet so we headed there. Parked the car and just started heading along the beach when an alarm went off at Torness Nuclear power station, what do you do? Just kept going assuming it was a test.

Alot of storm damage along the coast. Eco daughter found a dead lobster that was quite fresh and had eggs on the tail.

We spotted a couple of toads 'making out' according to Eco daughter and I safely moved them off the path into the undergrowth.

It was windy and the ground was still quite wet.

A really good morning and finished off with collecting some sea weed from the shore for the allotment.

Back home, made tea, Eco mum was taking kids to pictures so I went to the allotment to plant the tatties. Juno would not settle so managed to get a couple of rows in only.

On the way home answered a Blippers SOS fro a pick axe, did not know the front of house but only the back so he spotted me.
