Science festival

Esme and I went out to the City Art Centre tonight to the "adults only" night science festival thing. No, rxs, not what you're thinking, sheesh. It's essentially for kids, but tonight we could go round with a beer and no screaming weans. Robots, wind and wave power, mummies, jungles, blood, skeletons, etc. Just didn't seem like enough time. They kicked us out after only 2 hours. Might go back next Thursday for "singles" night with esme, sans wedding rings!

Had dinner in the Voodoo Rooms for cheap on our List Card. Food was good, but the place was a little empty, and the service was a bit slow. We also had to sit through a couple of sound checks from some loud bands, drowning out the rather enjoyable 70s soul and funk that was otherwise playing. Moan, moan, moan. Shouldn't complain, 2 courses and a drink each, massive portions, tasty and all for £22.60 + tip. Really got to use that card more often.
