Surprise!

My accidental blip. :)

I was walking across the parking lot in front of my building to take a picture of a flowering tree before work when a skinny guy asked me "to be in his contest; I'm asking all the girls in pink shirts." I was not interested and told him that twice as I detoured away from him and my flowering tree. I watched him walk away from the other side of this hedge. I took a picture of the hedge while I was waiting for him to leave and my heart rate to return to normal.

So, what I thought was a negative experience actually made me photograph something I otherwise might not have. It rained this morning, as you can tell. That plus the color made it the sure winner for today. I hope you too find a small blessing where you never expected it today.
