V Gully

Finally got out to test out some local rock tonight.

This is Alan struggling with V Gully. A bit of a battle up a weird gully. We did everything on a top rope as I haven't had enough recent climbing experience to be comfortable leading anything. Should be out again next week and I may try leading something nice and easy to get back into it.

It was a really enjoyable evening, with great views to the north and hardly a soul around. Finally had to leave when we couldn't see anymore.
