Bob's real ale
We had cycled from Lochcarron in a snowstorm and thawed in a cafe in Kyle. We had been blown by a strong following wind along an EC funded road to Armadale where we took the earlier ferry to Mallaig. We heard later that the ferry we had planned to take had been cancelled. We caught the tearoom at Glenfinnan 10 minutes before it closed and the first B & B we tried in Fort William was able to take us. It seemed as if we were carrying our luck with us and it came as no surprise that when Bob went looking for a pub that served real ale he would find one. Cheers.
