The world's a better place...

... when it's upside down!

That's the song I had to think about when I took this shot. The lyrics and video for 'Sweet about me' are not really related to all this, though... Couldn't get any closer without disturbing the bird so the image quality is not that high, but I liked it anyway!

This morning we had some rain, but now the sun is shining. Nienke and Inge are playing outside with some friends and Ellis is taking a nap, giving me some time to prepare this blip.

I'm definitely feeling better today. Not 100% yet, but getting there. And that's good news with the weekend about to start!

Remember my fake miniature from last week? I found out who the owner of the inland barge called 'Merwe' is and contacted him through email. He told me he liked the picture and would love to have some more for on his website. These things make my day!

Another thing to make my day: this is my 100th consecutive blip; I have not missed a single day since December 31. I guess this also means that if people have started their journal on January 1, they will have their 100th blip tomorrow...
