Bump!

Her friend banged the car door shut when she wasn't quite out of the way, resulting in this egg-like lump, like something off a Tom and Jerry cartoon on the forehead.

The photo doesn't really do it justice, but I couldn't really justify any more takes, since she did have a sore head.

After a few " do I need to get a CT?" " don't be ridiculous, people bang their heads all the time" " I bet Natasha Richardson's family wouldn't say that" type paranoid internal conversational moments, and icing it up for a while, I returned to earth and we enjoyed the rest of our dinner.

Sigh.

I am always thankful when we are out on the other side of the accidents and still alive.

Who knew I'd be such a headcase?
