Baby in the Mirror

It wasn't only Narcissus who fell in love with his reflection.

Noah spent half an hour or so cooing and smiling to himself today. He was completely besotted by his own image.

Coincidentally I'm half way through a lovely book called 'The Baby in the Mirror'. It's written by a psychologist, Charles Fernyhough, and is part beautiful memoir of his daughter's babyhood and part fascinating insight into the extraordinary journey of development a child undertakes in their first three years. It blends scientific research and love and is a cracking read :-)
