Well, this started out as a dead leaf from an orchid (which reminds me, I must go and give it some water).

I then leant it against the window to get the sun shining through the leaf from behind which I thought would make a good picture. But it looked a bit dull, although the detail in the leaf was very interesting.

A quick play in Photoshop and these wonderful colours appeared. I'm not sure I could repeat the process - a happy accident - but I like the result. Possibilities for textiles, me thinks.

Nice to sit in the sun underneath a tree at lunchtime today with my sandwiches and the paper - far away from the madness of the office. Shame to have to go back inside.
