Light Play

After 85 degree temps last weekend, I find myself freezing again in my apartment. While I'm working today, there are buckets of rain falling outside and a chill inside because I refuse to put the heat on.

On one of my trips to the kitchen today, I notice how the light is playing over the sea glass I found on the beach on Monday. I also notice how the rain has "decorated" the window and is making it appear distorted and "twisted" through the glass container.

The scuffed up pieces of broken "sea" glass from jars and bottles are one of my favorite treasures to find on the beach. I've got a collection that fills two big jars and now this one has been started.

Finding this scene in my kitchen today was a nice break from work.
