Aster novi-belgii

This autumn flowering plant has spread itself to several parts of the garden, with little help from me. It is so pretty at this time of the year that I am loath to pull it out. This particular bloom must be skirted if you want to get to the front door. Michaelmass daisies come in several colours, but all mine are white, which I prefer.
