Under the canopy

Went to Ellesmere Port today and was astounded at the changes that had taken place since I was last there.

The Old Market which has been on this site since I was little, and so full of character has now relocated to The old Asda site about 100 yrds away.

Lost its spirit which is a shame. Sad to see change sometimees, in this instance I dont think the change is for the better, the new site may be warmer but its a shopping mall not a proper market.

There is a huge canopy over the entrance, and the underneath was the only thing I felt was worth a picture.
