A welcome sight

After over 5 hours of driving, this B&B in Sandbach was a very welcome sight. The journey is usually much quicker but the mud flap in front of the front offside wheel had slipped and was hitting the wheel unless we went at less than 60mph.

Jammy though. The place we stayed (Spring Bank Farm) lets out some of their outbuildings, one of which they rent to a car mechanic. So he fixed it for us the next morning, took half an hour and cost only £20!! A good night's sleep too, and a nice breakfast to set set us up for the onward journey to Sussex on Thursday.
