Beautiful Day

What a fantastic day, 18C, sunny, people wandering about in t-shirts. I mentioned to an elderly lady what a gorgeous day it was . . . she frowned & said ne'er cast a clout til May is oot.

I always thought that was a Yorkshire expression but she was Bonnyrigg born and bred. The road into Bonnyrigg is bordered by hundreds of daffodils - very cheery :)

I took this photo then found my new camera has a setting for taking flowers - doh! Still got a lot to learn!
