Wingless bird 2

A grey wagtail (Motacilla cinerea) another in my occasional (and accidental) series of wingless birds.

I spent too long listening to the Cup Semi Final, and laughing fit to bust a gut. Then following the Pars match online (too little, too late, as ever....) So I wasn't really concentrating on blipping, and then we went out for a pizza with M's old friend C from Oxford days (and still a colleague) and her husband G and the kids. Very nice to meet them. C is up for the Harp festival so maybe she'll meet Bethceol or Stealthmummy....

I was so impressed when A, the seven year old son, asked to borrow his dad's compact, set it up using his waterglass as a tripod to photograph the flower on the table, set it on the 10 second timer, and coolly strolled round to use his napkin as a neutral backdrop! At seven! He also had a pterodactyl on his t-shirt. I think I want to be as cool as him when I grow up!
