Mini-tripods should come with a little mini-umbrella attachment thing to shelter the camera from any rain which might be falling from the sky into the poor defenceless camera's delicate innards. It would save me having to hold my hands flat over the top of the camera, thus appearing odd to anyone who might happen to be walking past despite my nonchalant demeanour. The half-eaten apple clamped in my teeth probably didn't help.
