Windy Willow

Another beautiful Spring day gave us the opportunity to venture into the garden for the first time this year. Managed to dig up weeds, turn over soil and shake seeds from the Laburnum before we'd filled the gardening bin and retired for the day.

Such beautiful weather demands that I crack out the infrared filter. Tried with the D90 this time and this 2 minute exposure was still quite underexposed. Yet, a similarly set up 10 second exposure on the D70 was almost blown out. So, it's safe to say that the D90 is a little better at blocking IR light, but that can be a bonus when you want to slow things down in bright sunlight.
