Meet the Froggies!

Clockwise from top left: Monty, Mork, Minty and Minky.

Mr Dazed originally bought me two tree frogs nine years ago and I named them Mork and Mindy (I don't know what the reasoning was, don't ask me why) but sadly Mindy died at a young age. When Mr D bought me a replacement I named her Minky (cause it's sort of similar to Mindy) and then when he bought be another two I stuck with a (sort of) theme and named them Minty (because he's green you see) and Monty (?!).

My Mum Toadally and Mr Toadally have had custody of them for some time now, ever since we went on holiday for a few weeks some time ago, then tried to move house and yada yada yada. I think Mum would actually weep if I tried to take them back now, she's become so attached.

So, since Mr and Mrs T are on holiday we nipped over to water the plants and clean out/feed the frogs today, and took Homer the tortoise with us so he could snuffle about in their back garden for a while. Mr Dazed brought out a parade of frogs for me to photograph, aren't they beautiful?

The reason that Miss Nonchalant, Minky, has a different background is that she refused to stay facing me to have her photograph taken and kept turning her back on me whenever we moved her around.

I mustn't forget Toodles the Toad, who also came out for some sun but looked decidedly grumpier :0)
