A Blip in a roundabout sort of way

Up at 6am this morning to take Portygirl to work with my trusty Panasonic TZ1 (doesnt that just trip of the tongue), feeling sure a blip would be mine, and not just an ordinary blip an early morning blip more satisfying for being in the bag early doors, Sorted.
40 minutes later having driven through pi**ing rain the reflective street light giving everything a smokers cough incandescent look, I decided to repair to my nest and catch up with the world news on the telly.
