Another Sunday, another castle!

We decided to make a picnic and head out here today (via M&S in Westhill for extras) as it was a lovely day. it was a bit windy out there, but nice all the same.

We didn't go inside today, I'd forgotten my NTS membership, and while hubby had his, we've done this castle before and wasn't worth the battle to get in on one card (why on earth do you need 2 anyway when you pay for family membership!?)

We had a lovely day, came home to chill for a while, then decided spur of the moment to take the kids out to a grown up restaurant. Not one with crayons and puzzles at the table, no soft play in sight and not even a kids menu. I mean proper adults place. They were happy enough to let the kids in. It's a big ask of a 2 year old, but I'm so pleased to say they did us proud there. It was an Indian, they both chomped away and behaved impeccably.

Perfect end to a lovely family day :)
