on Windermere.

Stopped at Ambleside for a wander in the new shoes (see yesterday).
Then drove though Kirkstone Pass, stopping for fabulous fruit tart and sticky toffee pudding at the inn. then on to Ullswater so of course I have some great shots of hills and lakes and snow and a couple of piers (does the pier thing ever pass? I can't not take even a scabby pier)....but I decided on these duckers partly because I so rarely shoot animals or birds, but mostly because I like the light on them.
