Dinner

Jade wanted to help out with dinner tonight, so I told her she could make the salad.

She was made up, bargain I thought, I could be on to something here!

So I spent the next 20 minutes telling her to be careful with the knife, be careful with the knife, be careful with the.........Jade your cutting that with the knife the wrong way round!!!!!!!!

Jade: 'Mum you have to let me figure these things out for myself!'
Me: 'Blimey Jade you could've cut your finger'
Jade 'But I didn't and I'm only learning and this is the best salad ever!'
Me: 'Yeah but you've got to be careful'
Jade: 'I'll do better tomorrow... I can make salad tomorrow Mum, can't I?'




NB (The green on the side of Jade's face is where she was trying out with her face paints what she might want to be for Halloween already!?! Talk about being one step ahead of the game!)
