The 'Hardly'

The 'Hardly is the name we give to our garden. It was originally part of an orchard until it was divided into 4 and shared between our house and the neighbours.

We have about half the original orchard and the other half is divided between three so ours is actually a small field. Someone who shall remain nameless on seeing it for the first time said "It's hardly a field" in a slightly condescending tone so 'The Hardly' it became.

It is only a small field but it takes some mowing and today it has had it's first cut.

Super day for gardening, out from 9am until 8pm. Just a break for 15 miles on the tandem and a brew with some friends.
