taken for granted

Though i long for time back in the jungle (SWLA) that I grew up in, I have to admit, & be thankful for, the beauty that surrounds me up here in God's country. I tried to capture the tallness of these ordinary trees lining the bike path we walk on. In the middle of town but such extraordinary works of nature!

My yard has 22 trees (per my S.O., who counted them). Many of them are as tall as these. Such beauty should not be overlooked nor taken for granted.
