the city life

well, we made it to church with the little one today. we also had a wonderful visit from a friend this evening.

we did some driving as well, and while more time was spent on the road than initially expected, it is good to get to know our way around a new city.

this experience has been a small change in scenery from that which i've become accustomed, but some change is good for all of us.
