Lone duck

At the entrance to where I work there are wetlands. I saw this duck all by himself taking in the sun. I feel like that duck somedays, isolated from the rest of the world just relaxing and doing my own thing. The trees that are down are from last year?s ice storm. During that storm we were lucky only to have our power out for six days. Some of our friends lost power for almost two weeks.

My camera does not have a very good zoom. This is as close as I could get to the duck without using the digital zoom.
