Summer Flowers

After my trip to buy some plants yesterday I planted up my hanging baskets this morning. They consist of trailing Lobelia and petunia's (I think thats how you spell them). I can't wait to see them when they are in full bloom and have georgeous big flowers.

They are hanging at the front of my house in the glorious sunshine. Now just to remember to water them daily. Thats always the bit i never seem to get round to. However this year i have a secret weapon! I bought some compost with water retaining granuals in the soil and have put a round disk of plastic into the bottom to hold some of the moisture. Anyway.... lets see how it goes! Time will tell.
