the progress of the magnolia

My magnolias are well on the way to a terrific display. Individual blooms are now open and I have had great fun trying to capture their beauty

I will blip the full bush at a later stage but couldn't resist this one.

A very close contender, to my surprise, was this

magnificent tulip

which was growing just below ! Perhaps she deserved the blip ?
