Northern Flicker

"Northern Flickers are large, brown woodpeckers with a gentle expression and handsome black-scalloped plumage."

Of all the birds at my new feeders in my new backyard, I must confess that the Northern Flicker woodpeckers are probably my favorites. I have two but I don't know if they are a pair or not.
