Cuckoo in the nest

I walked down to the postbox in the village near where I work today, mainly to get out in the sunshine. On the way back, I noticed this nest in the hedge. It looked like it had fallen from higher up, maybe over the winter. Whoever used to live there had obviously long gone and this ladybird seemed to be the new resident.
