Brains Brains Brains

had a really interesting day today. finally my wednesday psychology lab was actually a lab for once and not a statistics lesson in disguise! we got to look at brains! starting with tiny rats brains, sheep brains, monkey brains and finally real life human brains that had been donated to the university. the fact i was holding a whole human brain in my hands and that at one point that was the control centre, stored memories and personality and everything that made that person a person was right there in my hands, but simply seemed to be a heavy mass of slightly squidgy stuff, it was really very strange.
after that super interesting afternoon class i had signed myself for a Gaelic class. seeing as im scottish it seemed only fitting i should learn the old language! turns out its even harder and more complicated than i thought, but it should be interesting!
