Of Finance and Accounts ..

Thanks to my liking for math, I volunteered to maintain accounts at home. Maintaining home account is not an easy task. You need to monitor transactions that happen on a daily basis and keep the balance sheet updated. There has been a bit of slackness this month and pending accounts are on its rise. Decided to clear all the pending accounts today. It will be a big relief and I can breath some fresh air if the accounts balance out properly.

Also there are priority things to do related to IT declaration and investment planning for the next financial year. There are proposed changes in the tax slabs FY 2010-11. The changes are yet to be endorsed officially. Just waiting for the bill to be passed in the parliament as this change has some benefit to my tax slab.

In the sci-tech news, today India will join the elite club of nations possessing complex cryogenic technology. This is the first time India would be using indigenously built cryogenic stage and technology in GSLV-D3 to put the GSAT-4 satellite into the GTO. That will be a proud moment!
