Monk Andreas

The Valamo Orthodox monestary has a successful winery. Like all good monks, the clergy of Valamo produces their own wine using berries such as crowberries, raspberries, strawberries and blackberries.
"Drink only then you are happy, never for medication for sadness or sorrow," says monk Andreas. Father Andreas is the keeper of the Valamo monestary´s wine making recipes.
