Happy Birthday, Sweetheart!

It was a very low-key birthday for my sweetheart today. My birthday is always on a holiday, so I really sympathized with him today, as it falls on a Monday, and he is just too busy at work to really savor the anniversary of another year gone by. The kids added all the excitement that they could at the end of the day with special homemade cards waiting for him as well as a good wrestling match, and singing Happy Birthday. I managed a pretty good chicken creation for dinner's main entre. Dessert was blueberry muffins in lieu of a real birthday cake, which he said he was grateful for, being mindful of his waistline and all.
