Impromptu Blipmeet!

This cloud of ash has a lot to answer for! When I saw that flights to and from the UK were cancelled, I didn't even consider that there were two ladies in Krakow that would be affected...

So, this evening at about 7.30, I collected Grandmama and Echo from Warsaw Central Station after they hot-footed it onto a train to get themselves out of Krakow, before the imminent chaos of the this weekend's events takes hold and tourist-friendly cafes and shops close down.

Fed and watered and with a bed for the night, they are in a slightly better situation than thousands of other poor souls who are stuck at airports this evening, not knowing when the dust will settle. Not quite sure how long they're here for, but unless they can get themselves on a train home (via Berlin and Paris) then I think they'll be having a twin-centre holiday in Poland.

Anyway - here they are, blipping their day! We're watching Gordy, Nick and Dave on the box. Yawn.
