What's the story?

Well I was on my way to meet up with the Millionaires Club (another story). So I knew I wasn't going to catch the lavender Waterloo sunset that London was expecting, courtesy of the eruption up in Eyjafjallajoekull.

Then walking along my old stomping ground I remembered that a certain album cover was photographed here right opposite where I used to work, so I thought I'd compare shots.

And yes, things have changed a bit and it was the wrong time of day and the perspective of my pic is all wrong but at least I didn't have to get up at dawn and I wasn't mowed down by a taxi.
