The Great Veggie Race

I took pictures all day long, and these were my last subject. I don't know why they struck me, but they did. I only wish I had taken them earlier in the day as the light through this window is awesome....

These tomatoes and green peppers are sitting on a shelf over my kitchen window.
I've started them for transplant to the garden in a few weeks.

Oh, how look forward to their bounty later this summer!

...omelets, salads, pepper biscuits, spaghetti sauce, Balsamic chicken...mmm mmm mmm...endless possibilities!

So far it looks like the tomatoes have a head start - I'll let ya know how it all ends later, but I guessing they both win a place on my plate! :P~
