Alaska's Waning Summer

It was cloudy and rainy today. The woods around our house is extremely lush now, but there are early signs of receding foliage. I think the warm days are behind us.

Calico started high school today. Another milestone for which I have to console her mother. She seems to be excited about her French class. I hope she can keep some momentum with blip as the distractions of school overtake her.
