More vines; what I'm really looking for in monochrome August is to get a better feel for tonality...the vines make a great subject for that, since there's so much I can do with them. I had a lot of fun in particular working with this shot.

Seeing the Ansel Adams exhibit last month really opened me up to the amazing impact of good black and white tonality, and I'm really enjoying exploring it.
