Sea weed

Today was our last day in Surges Bay with Stu and Sue. Our flight didn't leave until 6.40pm, we didn't have to leave for the airport until 4pm so we had most of the day.

We went for a drive in the morning before Spencer's sleep. It was really nice, we just drove down the coast road towards Dover. There are a lot of salmon farms in the river, you can see them being towed up and down the river from the lounge room. We stopped off at a few little inlets and beaches. Spence had a great time going down towards the water and then running away from the waves that were coming in.

Spence and I went exploring at one beach, there was a tree with a big burnt out hole in the bottom. We went and stood inside it and saw a black mouse or rat! It was asleep all curled up in the middle of the hollow tree. Spence waved at it and said 'hello little mouse'.

It was a lovely day, spent with lovely people, in lovely surroundings!
