The wind is changing

There was a warm breeze that felt a little gritty in the eyes when I popped up to the Store earlier. No sulphurous fumes, fortunately.

I think this pretty little weather-vane - right at the tippety-top of Leith Primary School - was slowly turning to indicate that the wind has moved round to the west and I got home to discover that a lot of Scottish airspace is re-opening at 19.00 since the ash plume from the volcano is now being pushed eastwards.

But unfortunately J's friends and family are unlikely to make it out of Poland in time now to be at her wedding in Edinburgh tomorrow.
