Elk on the meadow this morning

As steam rose from the spring-fed meadow this morning, a herd of elk splashed through. It may look peaceful, but the combination of splashing, several breeds of ducks quacking, geese honking, songbirds singing and frogs chirping and croaking added up to an incredible, deafening nature riot!
