Bugger Aff!
Clouds that is. Billy Goat Elliot here was attempting to shove what wispy clouds that were around out of the picture.
It was still a bit surreal still having absolutely no aircraft around the skies whatsoever, and heading up into the Trossachs (pronounced Trossy-axe according to Heather) today for a some fresh air and sunshine allowed us to all appreciate some really blue sky picnicking. Turned out one of those days that you come home absolutely knackered but in that really kontented-knackered way. It was also a real treat watching the kids slowly wean themselves away from their ipods and phones and really enjoy what was going on around them. Despite some minor protests - "What? Another hill?"; "Why are we walking this way?"; "Is this IT?" - an old fashioned picnic on a blanket at the top of a hill brought out the child in everyone and we had an absolutely brilliant time.
With our two getting to the age when these sorts of days are becoming rarer and rarer it was a fantastic way to round off the Easter break. Cheers guys!
