Mount Torlesse

The Rubicon Peak of the Torlesse Range. I have blipped this scene before last winter when there was snow on the mountain.

I was surprised yesterday by so many people who didn't know that asparagus has red berries. I've been growing them for forty-five years and just take them for granted on female plants. However, I think male plants are preferred for commercial growers because they don't produce seedlings that mess up the beds. I've seen the suggestion that female plants should be removed even in domestic gardens. The berries are mentioned in the Wiki article.
