Room 101

I like Christmas. A lot. I just don't want to start thinking about it until December 1st. That's when I get a little excited - we open the first door on the advent calender and start to anticipate mince pies, what our stockings might be filled with and festive get togethers with friends and family. The tree doesn't go up until sometime the week before and cards are not written until we really feel in the Christmas spirit.

Today is August 21st and you guessed it the Christmas cards are already stacked on the shelves waiting for all you shoppers to buy them. IT'S FOUR MONTHS UNTIL CHRISTMAS!!! Who buys them? WHO? WHY? And as soon as the Christmas cards are gone, the Valentine's Day cards appear and then the Easter cards, not forgetting Mother's Day and then Father's Day all months before they are needed. Keep your cash in your pockets and make them this year - everyone loves a home made card ;-)
