Sun and bubbles

Glorious day. Feels like holidays which I suppose weekends sort of are. Mooching around Chiswick first thing mainly buying food supplies. Then off to the park to meet up with friends for play, picnic and steam fair action before heading home to hang out in the garden. Feeling quite restrained to have only just opened the first bottle of fizz.

Next on the heady agenda is a BBQ including thrice cooked pork ribs. I foresee more hanging out and more fizz to celebrate our friends' 10th wedding anniversary. They're supposed to be celebrating in the Irish hotel they had their reception in but the volcanic ash put paid to that. We'll do our best to be an entertaining substitute.

Am trying not to get too stressed by the other personal impact of the ash incident. Turns out one of actors had gone for a mid-rehearsal trip to Majorca. And that's where he is.
