What a Day

An absolutely gorgeous day in South-East England, so a day out was in order. Off to Pulborough Brooks RSPB reserve in West Sussex, just me, six glorious hours of sunshine, very litte human contact and birds with not a plane in the sky!

The blip is of a rather handsome Common Whitethroat, a spring migrant to the UK, quite a few of these around the reserve but this was the only really obliging one blip-wise.

Hopefully this weather will last and I will get more opportunities to visit this wonderful haven for our feathered friends, a target for the next month is to blip a Nightingale, a couple heard in song today but no sight of.
