Ploughing Contest

This is a four day event, currently being held at Methven on the Canterbury Plains, South Island, New Zealand. It incorporates NZ Ploughing & World Ploughing Contest - the 60 competitors from 30 countries have to plough grassland & stubble. The winner will not be found until tomorrow (Sunday), after ploughing the grassland plots.

Included in this event is horse ploughing, trade displays, traction engines, working vintage displays, craft stalls & entertainment.

The weather played its part providing a perfect summer like day.
